Roughly translated, Fulu Miziki means "music from garbage" and it's both an accurate and admirable namesake for this forward thinking collective. Now signed to Moshi Moshi, the ecologically conscious crew have shared the innovative lead track from their forthcoming EP Ngbaka (due out on the 12th of November). Pushed in a more electronic direction due to coronavirus restrictions, 'Ok Seke Bien (feat. Sekelembele)' takes inspiration from church choir singing and fuses organic elements, including their own homemade instruments, with spacey synthesizers and bleating beats. Arriving alongside a visually pleasing video that encapsulates the band's vibrant energy, Fulu Miziki certainly have our attention. -Holly Mullineaux
